4. Data Protection
In accordance with Art. 13 of the Federal Constitution and the legal provisions of the Swiss Confederation on data protection, every person has the right to privacy and protection against misuse of their personal data. The federal authorities strictly observe these provisions. Personal data is treated with the utmost confidentiality and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties.
The federal authorities, in close cooperation with hosting providers, make every effort to protect their databases from external intrusion, loss, misuse, and falsification.
Alertswiss allows the entry of personal data. These are pieces of information that the user enters in their own emergency plan. This data is stored exclusively on the user’s computer unless it is sent to third parties by the user.
The Federal Office for Civil Protection has no access to users’ personal data.
When accessing the ART’4 Construction Sàrl website, the following data is recorded: IP address, date, time, browser request, and general information transmitted about the operating system or browser software. These data allow the federal authorities to conduct anonymized statistical evaluations to identify trends and improve their services accordingly. According to the Federal Act on the Surveillance of Postal and Telecommunications Traffic (SPTA), there is a legal obligation to retain connection data for at least six months. These rules do not apply to voluntary contact. When registering your email address, it is stored in a separate database with no link to anonymous log files. You can cancel your registration at any time.
The Federal Office for Civil Protection maintains various accounts and profiles on social networks (X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing, Instagram, etc.), its own YouTube channels, and several applications. These sites and services are offered and operated by third parties. Each has its own privacy policy.
In addition, third-party services such as YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Google Maps, Google Ads, Google Custom Search Engine, Instagram, and Bitly are integrated into certain ART’4 Construction Sàrl websites. These providers also use cookies. When using ART’4 Construction Sàrl sites, users automatically transmit data to these providers. Such cases are expressly subject to the privacy policies of the respective providers. Users must be aware that data may be collected and transmitted to third parties. If a user is simultaneously logged into another service account, the transmitted information may be directly associated with that account.
ART’4 Construction Sàrl has no influence over the collection and use of such data. It does not know the extent of data collected, where it is stored, how long it is retained, whether deletion rules are respected, what analyses or associations are made with the data, or to whom it is transmitted.
